How It Works?

Lyrics Written With Love

Based on the information we are provided, our creative team uses AI tools to help generate the bespoke lyrics. These lyrics are then crafted in a playful, uplifting tone by our experienced music industry specialists (song writers) to be made suitable for the child’s age and explicit energy, with positive themes like kindness, courage, creativity, and friendship. We do not write songs of despair and negativity, that isn't our goal.

Music Creation

Using music industry-leading digital tools, we then turn those magical lyrics into a professional-sounding pop song. This takes up most of the time in the project as test cases are run many times to see how the words fit to the music. Again, this part of the process is managed by experienced music professionals who know a thing or two about songs including staff of our resident record company, GAP Records. We eventually come up with a final song. The final music is high quality and catchy, designed to appeal to young listeners (6 to 15) while remaining clean, positive, and fun for the whole family.

Every My Little Darlings package includes more than just a song, it’s a full experience! Alongside the track, you’ll receive a professionally designed digital lyric sheet (PDF) and a vibrant, AI-crafted cover image made by humans especially for your child. The reason we use AI is to help us design a 'scene' captured from the Lyrics.

Using a clear in-focus photo you provide, we lovingly reimagine your child as the star of their own illustrated world, inspired by the theme of their lyrics. For example, when Emma told us she loved wild animals, we transformed her into a cartoon adventurer running through the African bush, surrounded by rhinos, elephants, and zebras! It fits her personality perfectly.

Each cover is personalised, privacy-friendly (we use stylised illustrations not real recognisable photos), and bursting with personality. Sized at 1080x1080 pixels, these artworks are perfect for printing, sharing online, or framing as a keepsake that’ll make hearts melt and smiles last, forever.

Delivered Directly To You

Your customised pop song package is then delivered to you within 5 working days via email. (important that you have one) The email includes:

• A high-quality MP3 file of the song (about 5mb)

• A lyric PDF (a few kilobytes)

• A custom song cover image (png or jpg)

Yours to Keep and Cherish

All the files you receive, including the custom song, lyric sheet, and cover artwork, are yours to keep, enjoy, and share freely with friends and family.

While you have full personal use rights, including non-commercial sharing, the song itself remains the intellectual property of GAP Records. This means it cannot be reproduced, altered, or used commercially by other artists or third parties without our written permission from GAP records. This includes any uploading of the song to a distribution network or platform such as Spotify.

This policy helps protect the originality of your child’s unique track and ensures it cannot be copied or monetised by others. As a registered entity within the music industry, GAP Records safeguards its work under established music copyright laws, keeping your custom creation safe, personal, and one-of-a-kind.

Ownership & Distribution Rights Options

If you wish to obtain full ownership of your custom song and lyrics, you may purchase the exclusive rights from GAP Records for a one-time fee of $1,500 USD. This grants you complete creative and commercial control, including the right to modify, distribute, or monetise the work independently.

Alternatively, for the same amount ($1,500) you may request to have your My Little Darlings pop song managed by GAP Records for commercial release. Under this option, we will oversee the international distribution of your track across all major streaming platforms. You will retain artist royalties and may earn revenue from downloads and streams. This option is ideal for those seeking broader exposure for their child's custom track.

Please note: This managed distribution option is subject to approval. GAP Records reserves the right to decline such requests if, in our professional judgment, the song does not meet the criteria or potential for commercial success as a pop release.

Should you still wish to pursue commercial use independently, you are welcome to purchase full copyright ownership and release the song through other platforms. However, in such cases, GAP Records will not be affiliated with the distribution or promotion of the track in any capacity.

All rights transfer or management agreements will be formalised through a mutually agreed-upon contract to ensure clarity and protection for both parties. If you are considering either of these options, we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss the next steps.

Imagine your childs face when they watch a performer on stage with a band, singing your song in perfect harmony! It's stuff made of little dreams ins't it? Until soon!

Just like the song, the video will be yours to keep and share freely with friends and family. However, the final production remains the intellectual property of My Little Darlings, ensuring copyright protection and safeguarding your child’s unique creation.
